Sole Changers will be entering a $20 billion shoe industry market (Footwear Industry Statistics). In 2012, $6.46 billion (SFGate News) were spent on running shoes alone. This shoe would be made in the U.S. and be marketed to everyone around the world in stores and online. Sole Changers would be the second company to have soles that can be used in multiple ways by having interchangeable soles. The difference is that our shoe focuses on sneaker soles for athletic and recreational activities, and the similar company’s shoe focuses on different shoe soles used for hiking and fishing. Our shoes are intended to be used more widely while still maintaining comfort and durability. Wear and tear causes the shoes to be less user friendly the more that they get used. People then have to spend excessive amounts of money on new pairs of shoes. Sole Changers will help save wear and tear costs by allowing people to change the sole, the part that gets the most worn out, causing people to spend less money by only having to buy soles rather than whole sneakers.

 

We at Sole Changers feel that we can join the shoe market and make an incredible impact in this industry. This is simply because we offer a unique product that is more advanced than our competitors’ products. In addition, our product will save the average consumer’s money by making our soles more durable and cost-efficient.

 

Our company targets consumers who participate in recreational activities and school sports to provide them with a more sustainable product. Potential consumers include, but are not limited to, high school, college, and amateur sports players, and people who play recreational sports or activities on their own time.
